Chinas retail sales of textiles and garments increase y-o-y in Mar, 2025

China's retail sales value of consumer goods totaled 4.0941 trillion Yuan in Mar 2025, up 5.9% year on year. In Jan-Mar 2025, the cumulative retail sales of consumer goods amounted to 12.4671 trillion Yuan, up 4.6% year on year.

In March 2025, the retail value of apparel, shoes, hats, knitwear and textiles above designated size was 124.05 billion yuan, up 3.6% year on year. In Jan-Mar, the cumulative retail sales of apparel, shoes, hats, knitwear and textiles above designated size totaled 386.93 billion yuan, up 3.4% year-on-year.

In March 2025, the retail value of apparel goods above designated size was 88.35 billion yuan, up 3% year-on-year. From January to March, the cumulative retail value of apparel was 283.51 billion yuan, up by 2.7% year-on-year.
